Technical Proposal Writing is something we all need to know about. We're glad to have Mr. Sabra Asante lead an introduction and very useful session on writing a Technical Proposal, the Open Source Way. At Linux Accra, we only do not speak Free/Libre and Open Source Software but also share and teach topics that apply to the real world the Open Source Way in our Community of Practice such as Technical Proposal Writing 101, which took place on 13th July 2019 at AITI-KACE. Below are some key points from the session.

  • The session highlited where to find call for proposals
  • Best practises
  • Layout and Format of a generic technical proposal
  • Experiences writing and working on technical proposal

The session was interactive allowing for participants to ask questions and also share experiences. The quest for more led to a decision of having Technical Proposal Writing 102 on July 20, 2019. An advanced session with hands participation by all.One key advice from Mr. Sabra was:

Consultants can write your technical proposals for you but beware of what goes in there not to have issues during implementation.

This is why it's very important for everyone to understand writing a Technical Proposal and what's involved.
